Season's Greetings

Trying out some holiday card ideas. I had real trouble capturing the silver inked greeting with my camera. The greeting is from the November Simon Says Stamp monthly kit. I love these kits! They always have great stamp sets and are such a great value! I used watercolor paints for the background and white embossed Tim Holtz snowflakes before watercoloring using a resist technique. Bookmarks for Big Books for Little Kids

So each of my kids is reading one of the Harry Potter books. They are huge, especially since my kids are little 2nd and 4th graders. When I saw this stamp from the September Simon Says Stamp monthly kit, it seemed perfect for a bookmark. The dies are from Paper Smooches and Lawn Fawn. The paper and ribbons are from Stampin' Up. Now they have a good bookmark for their 600 page books.

It was so relaxing to color this Stampin' Up Perfect Peacock image with Spectrum Noir markers, topping off the card with a Lawn Fawn Thanks die cut colored with Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Tarnished Brass.
