I have been anxiously awaiting spring as this has been a tough winter. This project came together as I thought about birds, flowers, and butterflies. There are a lot of Tim Holtz products, some watercolored WPlus9 hummingbirds, some Memory Box music notes, and some Stampin' Up flowers.
Welcome Spring! You can't come soon enough!
I'll be submitting this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge "Things that Fly" http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/

Christmas Shaker Card
I love shaker cards but I rarely take the time to make them. But I had to put the embellishments from the last two Simon Says Stamp card kits into a shaker card! Some paper from the November card kit and some Tim Holtz snowflakes, and voila!
Gold-embossed Christmas card
So I finally had time to actually make some cards I have just been envisioning in my head. I am trying to make special holiday cards for my close friends and relatives, but I don't even know if I will get those done. Oh well, here is the first one. Gold embossed star. I love the peace/love/joy dies from MFT!

Season's Greetings
Bookmarks for Big Books for Little Kids
So each of my kids is reading one of the Harry Potter books. They are huge, especially since my kids are little 2nd and 4th graders. When I saw this stamp from the September Simon Says Stamp monthly kit, it seemed perfect for a bookmark. The dies are from Paper Smooches and Lawn Fawn. The paper and ribbons are from Stampin' Up. Now they have a good bookmark for their 600 page books.

Peacock Colored with Spectrum Noir Markers
It was so relaxing to color this Stampin' Up Perfect Peacock image with Spectrum Noir markers, topping off the card with a Lawn Fawn Thanks die cut colored with Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Tarnished Brass.
